Accounting & Purchasing Assistant/Clerk
Office organization: filing, management of supplies, etc.
Supporting different departments within the company
Operating the phone system, answering general phone calls and redirecting them to the right people in the company
Assist with any projects as needed
Maintaining strong relationships and long-term purchasing agreements with suppliers and vendors
Keeping open lines of communication with vendors
Maintaining accurate inventory records
Determining purchasing needs based on sales numbers
Staying up-to-date with industry trends
Comparing product deliveries with issued purchase orders to ensure there are no discrepancies
Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports
Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies
Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
Strong organizational & communication skills, ability to work well in a team & individual environment are essential in order to meet some hectic deadlines
Excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Superior phone and customer service skills/etiquette
Preparing meeting room in time for all the meetings and refreshing the room after each meeting.
Managing Shipping and Receiving, post and courier handling
